It is with sadness that we report the passing of Phil Knapp, member of Stothert & Pitt BC for nine years. Phil's funeral will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Hanham Rd, Kingswood, BS15 8PX on Thursday 30th May at 1.30pm.
Today we have learned of the sad passing of Mike Briggs, of Norwest BC. Mike joined Norwest in 1984, was Club Captain for 7 years and was the current President. He was well known within the Somerset Bowls fraternity. Funeral arrangements will be advised in due course.
