We are advised of the sad passing on November 2nd 2018 of Graham Gullick of Purnell Bowling Club. Graham's funeral will take place at Haycombe Crematorium, Bath, on Friday 16th November at 10.45 am, and afterwards at The Somerset Wagon, Chilcompton. We are advised that John Lewis, who played bowls at Shepton Mallet BC and also played for Somerset for several years, passed peacefully away on the 11th of October last, aged 96. John's cremation is at Haycombe Crematorium at 1 pm on the 29th October 2018.
With sadness we report that Ray Stokes (Weston (Bath) BC has died. Joining the club in 1967 he subsequently was made a Life Member and was a former Club President.
We are saddened to advise of the death of Keith Down who played at Prattens Bowls Club and was also a Somerset County player. His funeral is on Monday 8th October at St Johns Church, Midsomer Norton at 10 am.
We are advised that Alec Parkin, a member of Fosseway BC and also a County Umpire for many years, passed away peacefully today at Pondsmead Nursing Home. We have no further details at this time.
