Another good win for the John’s Trophy team against Cornwall on Saturday 6th July at Honiton B.C.
Carole Symonds was brought into Marilyn’s Gozna’s rink due to the illness of Margaret Dyer and played with the passion and enthusiasm that we know of Carole. The only other change was to Kirsty Hembrow’s rink with Barbara Colby coming in at 3 and Jenny Tibbs playing at 2. This change proved successful with a final score of 25-10 and won the top rink prize!!
On a heavy green with difficult lines, all rinks started well and after 5 ends were 21 shots up with 5 rinks winning. They continued the game with enthusiasm, and with the same encouragement from the supporters, to win by 33 shots. Won on 4 rinks, drew 1 and lost 1. Well done ladies.

Thanks go to all the supporters who travelled to Honiton to encourage the team on, all the reserves and standby reserves who regularly travel to support the team throughout our campaign. You all play an important role in the success of our team.

This now takes us into the Q/F against Wiltshire on Saturday 13th July at Cotswold B.C.

PLEASE COME AND SUPPORT OUR TEAM
at the Cotswold club on Saturday, as we will need as much encouragement and vocal support to inspire the team to the winning line.
